“The Christian doctrine
of the Trinity defines God
as three divine persons or hypostases: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.
The three persons are distinct yet coexist in unity, and are co-equal,
co-eternal and consubstantial.
Put another way, the three persons of the Trinity are of one being. The Trinity
is considered to be a mystery
of Christian
faith.”
Implying the existence of a programmatic relationship between the Trinity and a physical chapel is expressed in this concept design. The spaces, collectively, can serve a single purpose to satisfy a spiritual or emotionally charged event; or they can provide a venue for three separate simultaneous events. All-in-all, they are present to possess a clear and concise function as well as a mysterious form.
